STETSON KIDS

WELCOME

It is amazing to watch God move in Stetson Baptist Church. God is using our church to reach new families each week. We are seeing children steadily growing closer to God and giving their lives to Jesus. Stetson Kids includes children from birth through 5th grade. We understand that these years are a crucial time of learning in a child’s life and want to utilize this life stage by pouring God’s Word and His love into them.

As you look through this page you will see opportunities for your family to engage with Stetson Kids. God is doing great things here and we would love to partner with you in pursuing God’s design for your family.

What to Expect

We want your visit to be special. When you arrive, take advantage of priority parking and a Welcome Team member will greet you and guide you to the appropriate check-in location for your kid(s). We are encouraging everyone to check-in with our touch-free process. Check below for directions on how this works. You will receive a name tag for your child showing his or her name, any allergies, and a security code. It will also print a label for you with the same security code to pick up your child after the service. If you think you might lose the label, don’t worry. You will receive the code as a text message on your phone when you complete the touch-free check-in process.  Please let us know about allergies. If your child requires special foods, please bring it and inform the volunteer receiving your child. You will be guided to drop your child off directly in their classroom. You will pick them up from the same room at the end of the service.

How to Use Touch-Free Check In

Before you leave for church, text the work “check” to 386-400-9991. You will receive a link that will allow you to check in your entire family. This will even work for your first visit. It will just take an extra minute to enter your information. As you follow the link it will prompt you to choose a check-in printer. The printer you choose is where your nametags and security label will print. For example, if you have a 3 year old and 4th grader and you want to drop off your 3 year old first, then choose the preschool printer. All of your labels will be waiting for you to pick up in our preschool center. If texting isn’t your speed, we have greeters in both our preschool and grade school centers that will gladly check your family in.

Safety and Security

It can be difficult to leave your child in their own class and we understand that. We take the trust you place in us very seriously and work hard to protect everyone in Stetson Kids. We use a computer check-in process that is simple and secure. Everyone that works with children at Stetson has a current background check on file and we have a Security Team that patrols our campus.

Preschool Sunday School

Come and introduce your littlest ones to the wonder and Word of God. All classes use the Gospel Project curriculum so we never just “babysit.” Our leaders will always take time to share basic truths about God with your child. Age-specific lessons, activities, crafts, and games are all used to share the love and knowledge of Jesus. Our mission is to provide first-rate classes, safety, and Biblical teaching in a secure and friendly environment by people who love the Lord and love your children!

Grade School Sunday School

Sunday School is focused Bible learning for children.  Kids will engage in age-appropriate music, activities, and Bible stories. At Stetson Kids, we utilize the Gospel Project curriculum which emphasizes a chronological approach to the narrative of Scripture.  It helps children begin to fit the various events of the Bible (like creation, the great flood, Abraham, Jonah, and Jesus’ birth) into a cohesive order.

Stetson’s Kid Night

This fast-paced program is a lot like VBS with rotations and small groups. Our goal is for kids to have a great time, learn about Jesus, and to beg their parents to come back.
