On my desk, right above my computer, are two jars. One holds marbles and the other holds pennies. At this current moment, there are about 700 marbles in the jar of marbles and 800 pennies in the jar of pennies. Each week I take out one marble and one penny. Each week I am reminded that the time I have with my children is shrinking, not growing. With Zach, I only have 700 weeks left until he graduates from high school. Zoey only has 800 weeks before she graduates. Each week I am reminded that I must be intentional with the time I have with my children.
One of the biggest changes in our family was when we went from one child to two. Zach went from being the only child to a child. For those of you who have experienced this before, you know there is a monumental shift in the world of the first born when this happens. Everything is no longer about them.
A teen-led movement of gospel conversations from coast to coast.

Students who are connected to adults in their church are the most likely ones to stay connected to a church after they graduate high school.
Read that sentence again and let it sink in.

You may have heard about a popular series on Netflix called 13 Reasons Why. It depicts the life of a teenage girl who commits suicide, but before she does she leaves behind 13 tapes of why she did what she did. To be completely honest...
Ever wanted an easy, non-threatening way to invite your friends to church with you? That's what Double Dog Dare-a-thon is all about. Plus you have a chance to win some really cool prizes in the process. Mark May 6th & 7th on your calendar and begin inviting your friends now!
In America, we have the privilege of living out our faith by meeting in big buildings, with comfy chairs, and no threat of losing our life for doing so. Many places around the world do not have any of those luxuries. Yet, there is a desire in these places to know God and His word better, so they risk it all, in secret, to have what we often take for granted.
One of the things I am learning about having small children is that they are always listening. It doesn’t matter if they are in the corner of the room or on the other side of the house they are always listening. Don’t believe me, try mentioning words like Chick-fil-a, Moe’s, or beach in a three mile radius of my kids. They will come running because those are their three favorite places (probably in that order). It is amazing the things I have seen them pick up from Natalie or myself. It is a constant reminder that the words we use matter and what we talk about matters.
