One of the things I am learning about having small children is that they are always listening. It doesn’t matter if they are in the corner of the room or on the other side of the house they are always listening. Don’t believe me, try mentioning words like Chick-fil-a, Moe’s, or beach in a three mile radius of my kids. They will come running because those are their three favorite places (probably in that order). It is amazing the things I have seen them pick up from Natalie or myself. It is a constant reminder that the words we use matter and what we talk about matters.

Easter!!! That one word brings tons of mental images for me. I remember Easter baskets, hidden eggs, “Interesting” wardrobe choices (thanks, Mom…), jelly beans, cartoonish bunnies, Reese’s eggs, and pastel colors. Wow… the memories of Easter!
With that said, there is ONE image that comes to mind over all of the others when I think of Easter… the Resurrected, Victorious, All-Powerful, Gracious, Loving, Overcoming, Redeeming, LIVING Savior!!!
